Help Wanted: Education Intern for Computer and Robotics Outreach
Pay Rate: $10/hour
Hours: 20 hours/week (weekend hours will be necessary for some events,
but most sessions can be scheduled around employee availability)

Description: The Savannah Campus of Georgia Tech is seeking an
education intern to assist with community outreach programs.
Responsibilities would include presentation of workshops for students,
teachers and scout troops, hosting special events, and contributing to
program development and assessment. No programming experience is
necessary, and all training will be provided.
Applicants should be comfortable with:
computers, trouble shooting equipment, public speaking, creative problem solving,
working alone, and teaching others
In addition to presenting workshops on and off campus, the intern will
be a spokesperson for Georgia Tech Savannah outreach programs. He or
she will contribute to program development and improvement, both in
content and assessment.
The intern will also need a drivers license and transportation, with
the option of using a GTS vehicle when practical. All work related
mileage on personal vehicles will reimbursed at the state rate of $.55/mile.
