Office of Field Experiences, Clinical Practice and Partnership (OFECPP) Updates

STUDENTS CURRENTLY IN FIELD PLACEMENTS
Please check your field placement information on our web site to ensure it is correct. Approximately 90 students have two placements to fulfill their course requirements. Our office is hearing from some principals that some students have not begun their field placements. Please contact your cooperating teacher immediately. If you no longer need a placement or are having trouble reaching your cooperating teacher, contact Susan Cooke via e-mail at susan.cooke@armstrong.edu or telephone: 912.344.3155.

Please remember to dress professionally and wear your AASU badge, available at the AASU bookstore for $3.00.

Spring Internship II/Graduate Internship Applicants
REMINDER: Passing GACE scores must be submitted to the OFECPP office by November 18, 2009. Internship placements will be posted on December 16, 2009. Internship II/Graduate Internship begins January 12, 2010 and ends on May 4, 2010.

MANDATORY Spring Internship II/Graduate Internship Orientation
Internship II/Graduate Internship Orientation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 12 noon or 5:30 p.m. in University Room 156.

Important GACE information- Fall 2010 Internship II/Graduate Internship Applicants:
Teacher candidates who plan to participate in Internship II/Graduate Internship in fall 2010 must submit passing GACE II Content Assessment scores to the OFECPP by April 30, 2010. Please note: there are only TWO GACE Content assessment dates before the due date: January 9 and March 27, 2010. Please plan for your test dates accordingly.
