Attention December, 2008 Graduates in the M.A.T. and Post-Baccalaureate Programs in the Department of Early Childhood Education!

If you are an M.A.T. or Post-Baccalaureate student in the Department of Early Childhood Education completing your degree requirements in December, 2008, you must apply for Program Completion (Decision Point 3).

Please submit completed applications only to Dr. Elizabeth Crawford in University Hall Room 258 no later than December 5th at 5:00 p.m.

Upon verification the candidate has met all program requirements (and, for M.A.T. students, degree completion is posted on the candidate’s AASU transcript), he or she is responsible for submitting an application for P-5 renewable teacher certification.

To apply for your renewable T-4 (Post-Baccalaureate) or T-5 (M.A.T.) teaching license, download and complete the application at http://www.gapsc.com/Download/Application.pdf. Send the completed application and an official AASU transcript to Ms. Kathy Driggers, Certification Officer, in University Hall Room 250. Ms. Driggers makes the recommendation to the Georgia Department of Education that the student be licensed.
