The Dewey Lee Memorial Scholarship

The Chatham County Retired Educators Association provides an annual scholarship in the amount of five hundred dollars in  memory of the late Dewey Lee. Lee provided outstanding leadership for both active and retired educators.

The Association invites applications from students who meet the following qualifications:

  • A resident of Chatham County
  • A rising junior or senior
  • A student in the field of education

Applications should be received no later than February 18, 2008 in order to schedule applicant interviews. You may pick up an application from Mrs. Mary Ellen Donatelli in the Early Childhood Education office.
