Brenda Stancil is a special education consultant with Harben & Hartley Law Firm.  She joined the firm in 2005 after retiring from 30+ years as an educator.  Early in her career, she was a general and special education teacher.  Later she became an itinerate teacher for students with visual impairments and served as Coordinator of Northeast Georgia GLRS where she developed and coordinated ongoing training programs for teachers, parents and administrators.

Join us to learn everything and more about IEP’s and how to effectively plan for students’ education.

This workshop will include information that will help school personnel know the how, what and why of defensible IEP developement.  Questions wll be answered about documentation process and procedures to properly execute an IEP meeting.  Updates on the law and other legal issues will be addressed to help personnel understand the liablitiles of inadequate IEP’s.  This will benefit all school personnel in terms of knowledge, implementation and legality of IEP’s.

                           Early Bird Registration (before September 25, 2007) will be $135.00
                           There will be a cancellation fee of $75.00
