Rick Lavoie holds three degrees in Special Education and has served as a visiting lecturer at numerous universities including Syracuse, Harvard, Galludet, University of Alabama, University of Melbourne and Georgetown. His numerous national television appearances include The Today Show, CBS Morning Show, Good Morning America, and ABC Evening News.
Thursday, June 7th, Rick Lavoie will address the topic of “Fairness - The Key to Effective Behavior Management.” The event will take place froom 9:30 until 2:30 at the Riverfront Marriott Hotel in Savannah, GA.
Topics covered will include the doctrine of “Fairness”, learning as a quantum experience, dealing with conflict, teaching the “hidden curriculum“, and multidisciplinary vs. transdisciplinary approaches to the team meeting. Participants will be provided with several examples of the effective application of the Fairness Concept in the classroom.
